1×19 Stainless steel wire rope
1×19 stainless steel strand with 19 wires in one strand. Compare 0.8–12 mm metric catalog entries, AISI 302/304 and 316 imperial data, and selection considerations against 7×7 and 7×19.

This diagram applies to the listed diameters of this construction; it is not a dimensioned drawing. Click to view the full-size image.

Construction and selection
1×19 is a single strand, unlike the multiple strands in 7×7 and 7×19. At comparable diameters it generally favors rigidity. For repeated bending or pulley service, assess stranded alternatives rather than substituting on diameter or breaking force alone.
Projects to discuss
For fixed tensioning or support connections with limited bending, 1×19 can be a candidate. Provide the installation drawing, pretension requirements, allowable extension and end connections. Suitability depends on the complete assembly and operating conditions; the catalog is not an application approval.
Reading material and size data
The metric table lists discrete sizes from 0.8 to 12 mm, not stock availability for every intermediate diameter. Imperial data separates AISI 302/304 and AISI 316. Metric rows do not individually identify material, so their breaking forces must not all be attributed to 316.

Before requesting a quotation
- Material: specify 304, 316 or an agreed grade and the corrosion environment.
- Dimensions and quantity: nominal diameter, tolerance, cut lengths and quantities or reel length.
- Service and acceptance: static or moving use, load, bending conditions, required breaking force and inspection documents.
- Delivery: termination drawings, packing, batch identification, destination and requested timing; confirm stock, minimum order and lead time in the quotation.
